Shadowbrook Equine offers box stall and pasture boarding. There is a 15 stall barn, conveniently attached to the heated 60’ x 120’ indoor arena. There is a heated tack room to store your tack in or warm up on cold winter days, a small fridge, and a viewing window to the arena for parents to watch lessons if they so desire.

Depending on availability, the barn offers both heated and unheated box stalls. Each horse has a customized feeding program based on their unique requirements, which will include high quality hay, oats, and salt. Beet pulp and other supplements can be fed at an additional charge. If you prefer you can provide your own extra feed supplements and the barn staff will feed it to your horse. All stalls have access to minerals and fresh water. Daily turnout is in one of several outdoor paddocks, or if the weather is particularly terrible, in the indoor arena.

Horses in training are kept in box stalls, partly for convenience, and partly as part of the training program – your horse is handled several times a day – very important in their socialization skills!!
Pasture horses are rotated between several fields, and are fed hay during the winter months when there is no grass. As well, they have free choice minerals and access to water at all times. Board includes use of the indoor arena and facilities. If you are coming out to ride in the winter when it is dark, one can make arrangements with Nan and her staff to have your pasture horse brought in.
